6:40pm – 8:00pm: Ride of Silence (10 miles)

The RoS is recommended for ages 10 and up as we need to keep the group together for maximum visibility. We'll be riding no more than 2-up to allow motorists space to safely pass the group.
Lights will add to the effect, so if you have bike lights, plan on using them during the ride.

Notes: Evanston Bicycle Club and Skokie Bike Network will again join with Wheel and Sprocket to ride in silence leaving from Wheel and Sprocket at 1927 Davis. We ride to remember those who have been lost, to give comfort to those who have been injured and to be a beacon of safe riding to all who use the roads, especially those who ride bicycles on the roads.
