|Notes:||The annual Kansas City Ride of Silence will begin and end at W 62nd St and Brookside Blvd, Kansas City, MO. As in all rides associated with the national Ride of Silence organization, there are no sponsors and no registration fees - just show up with your bike AND HELMET at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday May 15, 2013 for a brief Ride of Silence ceremony and then at 7 p.m., a slow silent ride of about 6 miles from Brookside through the Country Club Plaza to Westport and then back. The KCMBC Race Team will lead the ride and riders will stop to regroup a few times. Lights and reflective clothing are encouraged.
This year’s ride is being organized by Mitchell Krasnopoler who lost his 20-year old son in a bicycle accident in 2011.
