Notes: Join the Kansas City Ride of Silence and be part of the worldwide bicycling community. We will ride in a slow, silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.

Meet Time: 6:30 p.m. for a brief ceremony

Over 100 bicyclists have been killed in the Kansas City area. The Kansas City ride will honor those and other bicyclists.
Participants of all abilities are invited to join the procession. The ride will not exceed 12 mph. We will read the names of those who lost their lives or were injured while riding their bicycles during a brief ceremony followed by ride protocol, safety instructions, and the ride.

Note the NEW LOCATION this year. Please do not part in the HJs lot because there are other activities inside during our ride.

Notes: The Ride of Silence is a 12-mile Ride that passes by the locations where bicyclists have been fatally injured. At 6:55 a memorial will be read and the names of bicyclists killed in Springfield will be read. The ride begins at 7:00 and ends about 8:30 with a pace of about 10 mph.
