Notes: We will meet at Wildcat Lake on Hickory Nut Gap Road. We will offer both dirt or paved options for our silent ride. Our ride is open to any age, any level cyclist that would like to come out and honor those who have lost their lives while riding their bikes. Ride begins at 7 PM and will last approximately 45 minutes. We will have a ride leader for both the road and the dirt options.

Notes: WeeklyRides.com and Bike Law North Carolina invite you to join us on May 15th at 7:00pm for the 2019 Ride of Silence. We ride to Remember, Honor & Celebrate cyclists that have been hit or killed while riding their bicycles. We will REMEMBER with announcements at 6:50pm. We will HONOR by riding at 7pm. The new route is 5 miles and will be completed in silence at a slow pace. We will start and finish at Triple C Brewing Co.. Make plans to join us following the ride for a CELEBRATION of life.

Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent at all times during the ride. Lights are recommended. We will ride rain or shine.

Following a brief program, those gathered will roll down Long/Ozark Avenue to New Hope Road, to Gaston Memorial Hospital, and return to the Courthouse via Cox Road/Aberdeen and Franklin Boulevard.

Meet at Reade Circle a 6:00 for comments and roll out by 6:30 for a free, one-hour-long silent ride in advocacy for safer streets and in memory of those who have been hurt or injured while riding. We'll circle the block, head up Cotanche, ride the greenway to Arlington, turn right onto Firetower, and then take Evans back to downtown. Social gathering at Pitt St after the ride.
